CDC provisional COVID-19 death data for American Indian and Alaska Native people. By April 27, 2022, the date of NIHB’s final weekly update, CDC provisional data recorded 10,799 COVID-19 deaths among American Indians and Alaska Natives. Deaths continued after that date, reaching at least 11,664 by December 2022.
